In 1980 David Parke graduated first in his class, suma cum laude, and valedictorian from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon. That graduate program required successful completion of four years ands 4400 hours of chiropractic medical studies, including two years of internship in chiropractic manipulation, nutrition and minor surgery. Board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and licensed in Arizona and Idaho, he is also Arizona Chiropractic Board certified in acupuncture and physiotherapy, and is a graduate of the Southwest School of Botanical Medicine.
For more than twenty five years he was in private practice as a chiropractor, nutritionist and herbalist, with a personal interest in disorders of the brain and nervous system. Then in 2004, shortly after his motherÕs death from AlzheimerÕs disease, he was introduced to neurofeedback.
The attraction to this powerful new technology was immediate. Recognizing its great potential for helping people with nervous system impairments and curious about its effectiveness and safety, he began an intensive study and review of the research and literature. This soon led to formal training and certification by the EEG Institute of Woodland Hills, California.
David began accepting neurofeedback clients in 2005. The first cases involved depression, migraine headaches, insomnia, seizure disorder, anxiety and traumatic brain injury. Other difficult cases soon followed and so did the good results. Now, more than four years later, David has transitioned completely out of the chiropractic profession. He is devoted full time to neurofeedback and attendant disciplines targeted at the enhancement and restoration of brain function, including brain specific nutrition, biofeedback, deep states training, and cognitive exercises.
David's home and practice are in Green Valley, Arizona, with an office at 75 W. Calle de las Tiendas, Suite 117B, in Green Valley. His interests include archery, hiking, biking, wildcrafting herbs, meditation, good books and backcountry exploration.
